My husband has a picture of his father and a ball team with shirts that say Globe Refiners. We are unsure if this is from the 1920s, 1930s or early 1940’s. He was killed in 1942 so we know it was before this. The back of the picture has Tribune Grafhic Arts, Hastings, NE. My husband said it is possible the team was either from Nebraska or Kansas. Would anyone have any idea how to find out anything about this team. He has been told his dad played semi pro. Thank you
Feel sorry for Mr. Thomas, but the game had to go on.
